Yitzhak Lamdan : ウィキペディア英語版 | Yitzhak Lamdan Yitzhak Lamdan (Hebrew: יצחק למדן) (born 7 November 1899; died 17 November 1954) was an Israeli poet, translator, editor and Hebrew columnist. == Biography == Yitzhak Lamdan was born in the Ukraine (then part of the Russian Empire) in 1899. He immigrated to Palestine in 1920, during the Third Aliyah. In the 1920s, he wrote a poem called "Masada" about the Jewish struggle in a world full of enemies. Lamdan's poem is said to have inspired the uprising in the Warsaw Ghetto.〔(Masada )〕
